Operating in a cross‑functional Agile environment, you’ll drive technical improvements, solve complex challenges, and play a key role in advancing the bank’s data capabilities across the Pan‑Baltic region.\n\nDesign, implement, and continuously improve systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharing\n\nBuild and optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability\n\nDevelop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools and frameworks\n\nEnsure seamless system integration and data synchronization across domains\n\nUphold high standards of data quality, security, availability, and performance\n\nCollaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions\n\nPerform code reviews, troubleshoot software, and fix defects\n\nImplement monitoring and alerting for data workflows\n\nGain expertise in a variety of banking processes and products\n\nWork as part of a cross-functional Agile development team in a Pan-Baltic, international environment\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience with SQL and Python\n\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\n\nExperience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker)\n\nStrong understanding of streaming data pipelines and platforms (Kafka, Spark, Flink)\n\nFamiliarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow or dbt\n\nExperience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)\n\nKnowledge of solution integrations (real-time, message-based, event-driven)\n\nExperience with both SQL and NoSQL databases\n\nExposure to test automation and DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code and security best practices\n\nExperience within the customer business domain is a strong advantage\n\nAbility to take ownership and drive initiatives independently\n\nFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level\n\nCompany offers\n\nFlexible working hours, Hybrid work, and the possibility to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland, and the UK (in total 90 days per year)\n\nTeams that go outside Pan-Baltic borders, where people value challenging work together with good humor and having fun\n\nYou’ll be joining a team where things move fast, ideas flow freely, and change is part of the everyday.
