You will collaborate closely with business and IT units to define requirements, modernize applications, and build cloud-native solutions.\n\nLeading and mentoring a team of Java developers, ensuring they follow best practices and coding standards\n\nDeveloping high-quality and detailed technical designs for Java applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable\n\nDefining and participating in the implementation of the Cards API layer\n\nWorking with business and other stakeholders to define the technical requirements for Cards applications\n\nContributing to the code base, conducting code reviews and facilitating standardization of best development practices\n\nFacilitating legacy application modernization and migration to cloud-native solutions\n\nPlanning and providing high-level solution effort estimation\n\nEnsuring effective communication with business units, IT Operations, and external vendors\n\nEnsuring the creation of solution design and technical documentation\n\nIdentifying and escalating risks associated with solution architecture, IT decisions, and any other possible technical risks\n\nEnsuring effective IT development processes by having a good overview of IT development processes and tools\n\nRequirements\n\nProven track record of developing and deploying Java applications\n\nProfessional proficiency with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot\n\nExperience building cloud-native applications (AWS preferred, but Azure is also acceptable)\n\nFamiliarity with architecture patterns\n\nProfessional knowledge of different software development methodologies\n\nStrong knowledge of microservice architecture\n\nExpertise working with CI/CD, Git, Docker/Virtualization\n\nFluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level\n\nNice to have\n\nExperience migrating on-premises applications to cloud applications\n\nExperience working in the banking domain\n\nExperience working with card payment systems\n\nExperience leading a software development team\n\nCompany offers\n\nFlexibility.
