The AIG will focus on exploring ways to utilize AI within Lummus Technology to empower our business units and fundamentally transform how our company operates. This position will work directly with our world-class experts in process engineering, design, and project management - collaborating across our global offices - to solve their toughest challenges. If you’re driven to see your work come to life in tangible, industrial-scale applications and to weave your own thread of innovation into our company’s future, we want to talk to you.\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner directly with business and engineering leaders to understand their core challenges and translate those needs into technical specifications for AI solutions.\nDesign, build, train, and deploy a wide range of machine learning and generative AI models to solve complex problems.\nDevelop and manage the data pipelines required for our AI systems, ensuring data quality and readiness for model training and inference.\nIntegrate AI models into existing Lummus business applications and workflows using APIs and other services to create seamless user experiences.\nFine-tune and evaluate large language models (LLMs) and vision models on our proprietary data, with a focus on performance, accuracy, and IP security.\nOwn the full lifecycle of AI applications, from initial prototyping and experimentation through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.\nFoster innovation by researching new techniques and technologies to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape.\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or other engineering discipline, Mathematics, Data Science, or a relevant field.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in an engineering or applied technical discipline.\nProficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, and others).\nStrong experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.\nStrong experience building modern GenAI stacks, including RAG pipelines, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar.\nFamiliarity with containerization and deployment tooling (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD practices.\nExperience with Git for version control, including repository management, branching, and push/pull workflows.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in process engineering, chemical, or related industries.\nExperience with advanced agentic concepts such as multi-agent systems or complex planning techniques.\nExpertise with our key partner platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Copilot Studio, Databricks, or Google Cloud (Vertex AI).\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI for data visualization and reporting.\nExperience with big data technologies (like Spark) and a strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.\nAbility to drive change management around AI adoption.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics to a technically diverse audience.\nWe Offer\n13th salary\nMeal allowance\n25 days annual leave\n5 sick days annually\nFlexible working hours\nOption to work from home 1 day per week\nTraining opportunities\nEmployee offers from corporate benefits\nLummus Technology is the global leader in developing technology solutions that make modern life possible and focus on a more sustainable, low carbon future.
