Own complex technical deliverables and service execution across multiple licensees, connecting customers and plant operations with Engineering, Product Development, R&D, and the Technology Manager.The role combines SAP product expertise, hands-on plant experience, technical leadership, and customer engagement to deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality services.\nEssential Responsibilities\nBusiness & Customer Leadership\nDevelop trusted relationships with SAP licensees and key stakeholders.\nIdentify service growth, technology upgrade, and operational improvement opportunities.\nRepresent LCS in customer meetings, workshops, technical discussions, and sales support.\nCoordinate priorities and communication across customers and internal functions.\nBuild regional capability through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.\nTechnical Leadership & Service Delivery\nLead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, process optimization, and plant performance evaluations.\nSupport commissioning, startup, and process guarantee runs for new and existing plants.\nLead multidisciplinary service projects and ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to LCS standards.\nPrepare or review technical reports, procedures, training materials, and service documentation.\nDeliver SAP technology and operations training for plant personnel.\nInnovation & Product Development\nTranslate operating experience and customer feedback into product and technology improvements.\nSupport development, qualification, trials, industrial validation, and commercialization of SAP products and grades.\nCapture and share lessons learned, best practices, and market needs.\nSafety & Operational Excellence\nPromote process safety, reliability, environmental performance, quality, and operational excellence.\nSupport incident investigations, HAZOPs, risk assessments, plant audits, and technology reviews.\nDrive improvements in safety, productivity, performance, and cost.\nBasic Qualifications:\nA customer-focused and self-driven technical professional who can operate independently in a global, multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively from plant floor to executive level.\nMust be fluent in English.\nB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemical, Process, Polymer Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5 years in SAP plant operations, preferably with UV belt reactor technology or other SAP technologies.\nHands-on experience in startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and process optimization.\nStrong understanding of SAP chemistry, product performance, and industrial manufacturing processes.\nExperience working across Operations, Engineering, Product Development, Technology, and R&D.\nMobility\nWillingness to travel internationally to support licensees and strategic projects.\nCore Competencies\n SAP technology and plant operations\n Technical problem-solving and data analysis\n Customer and stakeholder management\n Project ownership and service execution\n Clear technical communication and presentation\n Coaching, knowledge transfer, and teamwork\nSuccess in the Role\nConsistent, high-quality technical delivery across assigned licensees.\nProactive ownership, responsiveness, and strong customer satisfaction.\nEffective conversion of plant and customer needs into technical, service, and innovation opportunities.\nImproved regional capability through standardization, mentoring, and shared knowledge.\nRole focus: technical expertise, customer value, safe execution, and continuous improvement.\nLummus Technology is the global leader in developing technology solutions that make modern life possible and focus on a more sustainable, low carbon future.
