Reporting to the Manager of VP, this position will provide critical support for vendor qualification.The Qualification Specialist for Vendor Platform will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality assurance and control activities associated with qualifying vendors for VP relationships. This role will ensure that our VP vendors adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards according to VP requirements. The Qualification Specialist will serve as the key point of contact between our company and vendors, managing qualifications and audits including renewals and when required by VP managing quality at vendor manufacturing facilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nVendor Qualification Oversight:Coordinates with Legal trade-compliance screening of vendors\nConduct audits and inspections of tolling facilities to ensure compliance with our quality and safety standards.\n\nQuality Assurance and Control:Review and approve material vendors quality systems and certification.\nEnsure that vendor has in place QA and QC systems compliant to western industrial standards.\nPerforms renewal screenings.\n\nSupplier Management & Communication:Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring open and effective communication regarding quality expectations and performance.\nWork closely with vendors to resolve any quality issues preventing to meet the VP requirements\nProvide guidance to vendors as needed, ensuring they understand and can implement quality standards effectively.\n\nCompliance & Documentation:Ensure all vendor activities comply with relevant regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and any applicable industry-specific certifications.\nMaintain accurate records of audits, inspections, product releases, and non-conformance reports.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:Work with internal Legal, Business Units and VP teams to ensure that vendors’ qualification is aligned with Lummus business requirements\n\nManagement of manufacturing qualityCoordinate Inspection activities with 3rd party inspection agencies according to VP requirements.\n\n Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management, preferably manufacturing operations.\nKnowledgeable in QA and international certification systems, e.g. ISO, API etc.\nKnowledgeable in QC and Source Inspection\nAble to perform QA and QC audit of vendor manufacturing shop\nAble to perform Source Inspection visits for different types of equipment e.g. Mechanical, Valves, Piping, Instrumentation etc.\nAble to travel to vendor manufacturing shops located globally\nAble to organize and manage Third Party Agencies for Source Inspections\n\nWe Offer\n13th salary\nMeal allowance\n25 days annual leave\n5 sick days annually\nFlexible working hours\nOption to work from home 1 day a week\nTraining opportunities\nEmployee offers from corporate benefits\nLummus Technology is the global leader in developing technology solutions that make modern life possible and focus on a more sustainable, low carbon future.
