We move quickly, collaborate across teams, and believe the best ideas come from people who are curious, solutions-oriented, and ready to build what's next.\nWhat You'll Do:\nReceive, review, and process incoming 811 locate tickets within required response times.\nCoordinate utility locating activities with internal field teams and third-party locating vendors.\nPrioritize emergency and high impact locate requests to minimize service disruptions and infrastructure damage.\nMaintain accurate records of locate requests, responses, markings, and completed work in tracking systems.\nMonitor ticket volumes, aging, and compliance metrics to ensure SLA adherence.\nCommunicate with construction crews, contractors, municipalities, and customers regarding locate statuses and conflicts.\nInvestigate damage incidents and assist with root-cause analysis and reporting.\nEnsure compliance with state one-call laws, and Lumos damage prevention policies.\nGenerate reports related to locate performance, damages, ticket trends, and operational KPI’s.\nEscalate unresolved conflicts, missed locates, or risk-related issues to leadership promptly.\nWhat You'll Bring:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.\nSolid MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel).\nAttention to detail.\nData analysis; Identification of concerns and opportunities.\nAbility to prioritize multiple deadlines.\nTeam collaboration skills.\nData tracking and reporting experience preferred.\nCustomer Service experience required.\nSafety and compliance mindset preferred.\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit:\nHigh School diploma required.
