You understand your role in supporting project success and contributing to a positive team dynamic. \nKey Responsibilities \nSupport the preparation of engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and industry standards. \nAssistwith planning and analysis efforts using GIS and other design tools to support project development. \nContribute to the production of civil design plans, including site layouts, grading, utilities, and roadway designs. \nAssist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals. \nParticipate in field visits and construction site observations to gain exposure to construction processes and project implementation. \nSupport modeling efforts for water, sewer, and stormwater systems and assistwith associated technical reports. \nCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to support project delivery and timelines. \nQualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field. \n2+ years of experience in civil engineering design or a related role. \nEngineer Intern (E.I.) certification (passed FE exam), preferred. \nExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, including preparation of site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts. \nBasic understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles. \nFamiliarity with GIS software (such as ArcGIS/ArcPro) is a plus. \nProficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). \nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. \nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3 or fewer demerit points). \nAbout Lumos & Associates \nLumos & Associates brings civil engineering, structural engineering, surveying and mapping, geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and construction management under one roof, with offices in Reno, Carson City, Fallon, South Lake Tahoe, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Boise.
