This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys managing projects, mentoring staff, collaborating with clients, and contributing to business development while working on diverse and impactful infrastructure projects. \nKey Responsibilities: \nLead and manage civil engineering projects from planning through design and construction. \nCoordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. \nDevelop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets. \nServe as a primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project partners. \nProvide technical oversight and QA/QC review. \nMentor and support early incareer staff and project engineers. \nAssistwith business development, including proposals and client relationship management. \nContribute to a variety of projects, which may include: \nWater distribution and wastewater systems (preferred) \nStormwater and drainage infrastructure \nMunicipal and public works projects \nTransportation-related projects, including trails, roadway rehabilitation, and new roadway design \nLand development and site design for private development and public/institutional projects \nThe ideal candidate brings a mix of leadership, technical expertise, and business awareness: \nStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects. \nSolid communication skills, including client interaction and public presentations. \nExperience developing project budgets and managing financial performance. \nA collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and mentor teams. \nExperience delivering projects within one or more of our core market sectors, including transportation, water/wastewater, community infrastructure, stormwater, and private development. \nRequirements: \nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field. \nA minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant engineering and project management experience. \nProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in California (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe). \nExperience working with multidisciplinary teams. \nValid driver license and driving record with 3 or less demerit points. \nAbout Lumos & Associates \nLumos & Associates brings civil engineering, structural engineering, surveying and mapping, geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and construction management under one roof, with offices in Reno, Carson City, Fallon, South Lake Tahoe, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Boise.
