This position combines hands-on cooking with shift leadership responsibilities such as training team members, monitoring food safety logs, coordinating station assignments, and maintaining compliance with Luna Grill standards.\nPrepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Luna Grill recipes and portion standards\nOperate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently\nMaintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards always\nSet up, organize, and maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift\nSupport the kitchen team with prep, stocking, and closing duties\nDirect and assist team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations\nCommunicate effectively with leadership and teammates to keep service running efficiently\nAssist with dishwashing, kitchen maintenance and other tasks as needed\n What we’re looking for:\n1+ years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume or fast-casual environment required\nStrong understanding of food prep, portion control, and recipe consistency\nKnowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices\nPositive, dependable team player who thrives under pressure\nMust be 18 years or older\nStrong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation\nReliable, professional, and able to communicate clearly\nAble to work productively with minimal supervision\nHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\nBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus\nWho We Are\nWe’re Lunatics — devoted to maintaining high standards through culture, teamwork, and training.At Luna Grill, people are our #1 priority.
