We are currently,seekingatalented, experienced RF Communications Engineerto contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment.As a Comms IPT leadyou will manage all communications systems for the LTV vehicle including Direct to Earth, Relay to Earth, and all lunar surface comms.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesignstate-of-the-artRF communication systems for satellites and rover systems\nManage and integrate satellite and rover systems to meet rigorous requirements\nDevelop andvalidatecomplex antenna/RF designs with trade studies, modeling, and simulation\nBuildand test RF systems, including antenna/payload communications subsystem\nCreate test plans, specifying hardware and software, while adhering to industry standards and regulations\nSupport business development with customer solutions and engagement\nRequired Qualifications:\nUnderstanding of space system requirements and the ability to pull together complex systems to meet those requirements\nMinimum 7 years of relevant experience \nExperience in the hands-on build and testing of RF systems, including using and building test racks\nAbility to define and conduct tests tovalidateantenna and RF designs against mission requirements\nExperience in creating detailed test plans, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet cost and regulatory standards\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineeringor a related field \nExcellent management skills and experience with management software\nExperiencedeveloping andmanaging vendor requirements and specifications\nSelf-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines\nExcellent organization and time management skills\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nU.S. Person\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on RF payloads or Antenna Theory\nLunar Outpost is an equal opportunity employer.
