This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.\nWorking Conditions / Schedule: This position is required to be onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Where applicable, employees may work remotely on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement software for real-time robotic systems, focusing on algorithms related to motion control, path planning, and sensor integration\nParticipate in the coding, testing, and debugging of software modules using C++, Python, and ROS\nAssist in the simulation and testing of robotic systems to validate software functionality and system performance\nCollaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware\nDocument software design, testing procedures, and results, contributing to technical reports and user manuals\nQualifications:\nPursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a related field with a strong software emphasis\nExperience with programming languages such as C++ or Python and familiarity with robotics middleware, preferably ROS2 \nSolid understanding of algorithms related to robotics, such as SLAM, motion planning, or state estimation\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nCan effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment\nExhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations\nFueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world\nEarly-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule.
