This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.\nWorking Conditions / Schedule: This position is required to be onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Where applicable, employees may work remotely on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain simulation models for robotic systems using mathematical models\nDevelop tools for analyzing simulation model performance and accuracy\nConduct simulations to test the performance and reliability of robotic mechanisms and software algorithms\nCollaborate with software and hardware engineers to gather requirements and verify model accuracy\nAnalyze simulation data to identify and resolve discrepancies in system behavior\nDocument simulation procedures, results, and insights to guide future designs and improvements\nQualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field\nExperience with robotics simulation tools and software, including ROS2 and MATLAB/Simulink\nExperience in control theory and state estimation\nExperience with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nCan effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment\nExhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations\nFueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world\nEarly-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule.
