A Senior Forward Deployed Engineer sets direction. You make it real inside the client's environment.\nFully remote, US-based. Lunon is headquartered in New York City.\n\nSome travel to client sites, a few days at a time, fully covered.\n\nWhat you'll do\nBuild the speech and text pipelines, LLM workflows, and integrations the client runs on.\n\nDeploy to the client's cloud, instrument what you ship, and fix what breaks.\n\nWrite the tests, evals, and docs that keep it working after the engagement ends.\n\nLearn the client's business fast, and say so early when the plan meets reality.\n\nWhat you'll need\nExperience matters here. We judge it by what you've shipped and kept running, not by a number of years.\nYou've shipped something with LLMs in it that people actually used.\n\nYou've worked inside a codebase you didn't write.\n\nYou can show the work: a repo, a demo, or a write-up.\n\nYou use AI coding tools every day and judge the result by the system and its output, not the language.\n\nYou can travel to client sites and are authorized to work in the US.\n\nNice to have\nApply even if none of these are true.\nYou've built with speech-to-text, conversation analytics, or large volumes of unstructured text.\n\nYou've integrated with a CRM, a telephony platform, or a data warehouse.\n\nYou've shipped a side project to real users and kept it alive.\n\nHow we hire\nA 30-minute conversation with the team about what you've shipped and what we're building.\n\nA technical deep-dive on one system you owned, from the business problem to production.\n\nA working session on a real client problem with the team.\n\nReferences, then an offer.
