This position performs preventative and corrective maintenance on critical utilities while also supporting general facility upkeep, including minor building repairs, patching, painting, and basic carpentry tasks. The technician works closely with Facilities Engineers, contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure reliable utility performance, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform maintenance of Facility buildings and critical systems, including but not limited to;\no Building Management system\no HVAC, Chillers and dust collection systems\no Compressed air systems\no Nitrogen system\no Vacuum System\no Purified water systems\nPerform routine inspections, equipment rounds, and system performance checks.\nRespond to alarms, system abnormalities, and utility outages.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utility equipment.\nExecute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders using the site's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nSupport utility shutdowns, startups, commissioning activities, and planned maintenance events.\nAssist with contractor oversight and coordination of utility-related services.\nEnsure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and operational procedures.\nPerform minor building repairs and facility upkeep activities.\nConduct wall patching, painting, touch-up work, and surface repairs.\nParticipate in safety inspections and hazard identification activities.\nSupport emergency response activities and after-hours call-in requirements when necessary. environmental controls required for DPI or MDI manufacturing.\nEnsures adherence to SOPs, batch records, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.\nQualification and Experience\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nTechnical school certification, vocational training, or Associate's degree in Facilities Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, HVAC, or related field preferred.\nMinimum 2-5 years of facilities maintenance, utility operations, or industrial maintenance experience.\nExperience working with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
