This role supports reliable laboratory operations by managing equipment lifecycle activities, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all systems meet GMP, GLP, and internal quality standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPerform and/or coordinate calibration of laboratory instruments according to approved procedures and schedules.\nMaintain calibration standards, reference materials, and traceability to national/international metrology bodies.\nReview calibration results, assess out of tolerance conditions, and support investigations as needed.\nMaintain accurate calibration records in the equipment management system.\nExecute and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for laboratory equipment, including coordination with external vendors.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.\nLead or support equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new and existing laboratory instruments.\nSupport periodic review and requalification assessments.\nMaintain equipment files, logs, certificates, and electronic records in accordance with data integrity principles.\nParticipate in audits and inspections, providing documentation and technical support.\nProvide technical guidance to laboratory staff on proper equipment use and care.\nQualification and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metrology, Life Sciences, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).\n2-5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated laboratory environments.\nHands on experience with calibration, equipment maintenance, and qualification activities.\nFamiliarity with GMP/GLP, data integrity, and regulatory expectations for laboratory equipment\nExcellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting to 25 pounds occasionally.
