SUMMARY: Structural, Mechanical, Piping & Platework (SMPP Supervisor) POSITION INFO: Our client in the mining sector is recruiting an experienced (Structural, Mechanical, Piping & Platework) SMPP Supervisor to provide client-side oversight of all structural steel, mechanical equipment, piping, and platework activities performed by the EPC Contractor and its subcontractors on a large-scale mining and mineral processing project. The role focuses on monitoring HSE, quality, installation progress, and compliance with approved project requirements, including specifications, IFC drawings, codes of construction, OHSA, and MHSA. The successful candidate will perform routine field inspections and quality surveillances, working closely with the Construction, Quality, Engineering, and HSE teams. The EPC Contractor remains responsible for managing and controlling its work and subcontractors. The Supervisor will verify that the work is being correctly planned, supervised, inspected, and completed in accordance with the contract.
