You’ll build out PMIS modules for budget, cost, schedule, risk, and reporting, and partner with project controls teams to keep program data structured, accurate, and audit ready.\nThis post is for future roles and not for a specific opportunity that is available right now. While we are currently targeting the Phoenix area, we welcome and will consider qualified candidates from anywhere in the continental United States. These positions require up to 50% travel.\nResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nNote: We are seeking candidates of various skill levels, and the following responsibilities represent the core of these roles. Scope and complexity increase with experience level.\nConfigure PMIS processes for budget, cost, change orders, payments, risk, issues, cash flow, and earned value to support project controls, project management, and program management functions.\nConfigure security roles, user access, and integrations between PMIS platforms, scheduling systems, document management systems, and ERP systems.\nConfigure cash flow, earned value, and other modules within the PMIS solution.\nIdentify and correct inconsistencies in data structures, coding, and hierarchy across project controls systems.\nDevelop and maintain data models that support integrated reporting across cost, schedule, and performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement of data structures, reporting processes, and data quality across the program.\nDevelop project reports and dashboards aligned with client and program reporting requirements.\nAutomate data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation across PMIS and integrated systems using SQL and/or Python.\nReconcile and validate data across multiple reporting systems to maintain accuracy and consistency.\nCollaborate with project controls managers, cost engineers, and schedulers to ensure data structures support program controls requirements.\nSupport end-user training and knowledge transfer on deployed PMIS configurations, workflows, and reporting tools.\nAttributes\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical project data into clear reporting for program leadership and stakeholders.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful insights.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple data sources and competing reporting deadlines across large, complex programs.\nCollaborative mindset that supports project controls managers, cost engineers, and schedulers in achieving shared reporting goals.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, construction management, business administration (management information systems), data analytics, statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3+ years’ experience implementing, integrating, and configuring software systems, preferably Unifier, P6, Kahua, or Procore.\nExperience configuring business processes, workflows, security roles, and user access within an enterprise software platform.\nExperience building and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems, including work with APIs, authentication, and structured data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.\nProficiency with SQL and Python, including the use of Python to automate data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and system-to-system integration.\nExperience performing advanced data manipulation, transformation, and structuring of large datasets, beyond basic reporting or dashboarding.\nExperience working with hierarchical data structures such as work breakdown structures (WBS), cost breakdown structures (CBS), chart of accounts, or similar multi-level coding frameworks.\nExperience integrating, reconciling, and normalizing data across multiple systems, such as scheduling, cost, and financial systems.\nExperience improving data quality, hierarchy, and alignment across systems when working with incomplete, inconsistent, or poorly structured datasets.\nExperience developing reports and dashboards aligned with stakeholder and organizational reporting requirements.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in engineering, computer science, construction management, business administration (management information systems), data analytics, or statistics.\nPMP (PMI), CCM (CMAA), MRICS/FRICS (RICS), or CCA (AACE).\nExperience supporting project controls, data, or reporting functions on large, complex infrastructure programs, including highways, roads, bridges, transit (rail or bus), aviation, or water/wastewater projects, typically involving multi-contract delivery and integrated reporting requirements.\nUnderstanding of project controls processes and their relationships to budget, schedule, risk, and governance on large capital programs.\nExperience integrating PMIS or enterprise platforms via API with analytics platforms or AI-assisted reporting tools, including familiarity with applicable cybersecurity governance requirements.\nExperience developing Python-based integrations in a production environment, including scheduled execution, error handling, logging, and documentation.\nExperience operating within a Center of Excellence model, including development of templates, processes, and governance that support efficient configuration and delivery.\nExperience supporting integrated cost and schedule reporting, including earned value or similar performance frameworks.\nExperience supporting project controls or program management on infrastructure programs exceeding $500M in value.\nFamiliarity or proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.\nCompensation Details\nExpected Salary: $130k-$160k/year ($63-$77/hour).
