By ensuring medications are prepared, labeled, packaged, and delivered accurately, this role helps ensure patients receive the right therapy at the right time - safely and compliantly.\nIn this role, you’ll contribute to work that:\nSupports safe, timely delivery of infusion medications\nEnables pharmacists and clinicians to focus on patient care\nMaintains quality, compliance, and consistency in pharmacy operations\nStrengthens a patient-first, clinician-led organization\nWhile patients may never see this work directly, they feel its impact every day.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIn this role, you will:\nPerform pharmacy technical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist\nPrepare, label, package, and stage prescriptions including sterile admixtures, unit-dose, and prepackaged medications\nGenerate and process batches for prescription preparation and shipment\nEnter and maintain accurate prescription, inventory, and shipment data in pharmacy systems\nGenerate labels, pick lists, and packages in accordance with dispensing orders\nCoordinate with intake and billing teams to ensure insurance authorization prior to shipment\nCommunicate shipment details with field staff and managers to ensure accurate delivery\nReceive, unpack, verify, and document incoming drug and supply deliveries\nMonitor outbound shipments to confirm delivery and file documentation accurately\nPerform and document quality assurance activities\nMaintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspaces\nManage inventory levels, rotation, and returns in alignment with company goals\nParticipate in training, quality meetings, and continuing education to maintain regulatory and clinical knowledge\nWhat We’re Looking For\nYou may be a great fit if you bring:\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nA customer-service mindset applied to pharmacy operations\nComfort working in structured, regulated environments\nReliability, organization, and pride in doing things the right way\nA collaborative approach to supporting pharmacists and operations teams\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nCommitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality\nPreferred Qualifications\nGraduation from a pharmacy technician training program\nNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)\nExperience with CareTend or similar pharmacy software\nYou don’t need to check every box; we care just as much about how you show up as your experience.\nCandidates who do not currently hold the required pharmacy technician credentials may still be considered. LUX Infusion is willing to provide training and developmental support to a qualified candidate who demonstrates the aptitude and commitment to complete the credentialing process. The selected candidate must obtain an approved national pharmacy technician certification and satisfy all New York State licensure and registration requirements within six months of hire, or within another timeframe established in the offer letter. Until the required credentials are obtained, the employee’s responsibilities will be limited to duties legally permitted for unlicensed personnel and performed under pharmacist supervision.
