We are located just 15 minutes outside of Solon, Ohio!!!!\nThe Electrical Engineer works across a variety of functional groups involved in the engineering, product development, implementation, and manufacturing of Luxium Solutions products.\nResponsibilities include:\nPerform analog and digital electronic design.\nDesign, develop, assemble, and test prototype electronics and test fixtures.\nInterpret technical specifications and requirements.\nProvide technical guidance on electronics and radiation detection physics for Luxium Solutions products.\nCreate and maintain technical reports, assembly and test procedures, electronic schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), PCB files, firmware/software, hardware databases, and quality reports.\nCollaborate with global colleagues across Applications and Technology, Marketing, Business, Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Production Engineering, as well as technicians and operators.\nApply project management skills to maintain project schedules and meet project milestones.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives and address obsolescence of established and legacy designs.\nReduce manufacturing defects, increase production yield, and improve product quality.\nAttend and/or present at global technical trade shows, conferences, and meetings as needed.\nInteract with customers to provide technical guidance, basic training, and troubleshooting support.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited college or university.\n3-5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.\nRelevant experience may include leadership responsibilities and participation in development, co-op, or internship programs.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.\nSix Sigma Yellow Belt and/or Green Belt training.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) licensure.\nProgram Management Professional (PgMP) certification.\nBenefits\nLuxium Solutions is empowering the world with solutions for Healthcare, Security, Energy & Scientific Research by enabling the technology of tomorrow for a hyper connected and digitized world.\nCome pursue your career within a niche business and learn something that you can’t find anywhere else!
