Candidates must be available and willing to relocate to Portugal if they are currently based abroad.\nO que vais fazer\nPerform product testing and failure analysis\nDetermine product feasibility\nAnalyse engineering sketches, specifications, data, and related drawings to determine design factors such as part size, shape, and layout\nCollaborate with Production and Sales teams to ensure product objectives and manufacturing capabilities are aligned\nDesign overall machining layouts and calculate angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, leverage, and feature locations\nCalculate the magnitude, direction, and point of application of tensile, compressive, and bending forces, and develop the geometric shape of parts to accommodate operational loads\nPrepare detailed multi-view drawings of parts and assemblies, including specifications for gear ratios, bearing loads, and the direction and interaction of moving parts\nModify part designs to correct functional deficiencies or reduce manufacturing issues\nMeasure machines and components prior to production to ensure compliance with project specifications\nUse computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software and equipment to develop designs\nCoordinate and lead project meetings and design reviews\nDesign and detail manufacturing drawings, from initial concept through to finished products\nWork with suppliers to resolve production issues and support new product development\nCommunicate with and provide technical support to customers, engineers, and external sales representatives regarding technical issues or new product development\nDeliver presentations to internal and external customers\nO que é pedido\nEducation: Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, although not essential for candidates who demonstrate significant experience and strong technical expertise in the field\nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Hot and Cold Forging processes, within industries manufacturing technical components, preferably for the Automotive industry\nLanguages: English\nTechnical Skills: Knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion, QForm simulation, or similar tools\nLocation: Availability to work 100% on-site in Portugal\nAll candidates must have the legal right to work in Portugal\nResumo organizado por IA a partir do anúncio original.
