The Outreach Engineer provides technical support, coaching and mentoring to Government Points of Contact (GPOCs) relative to ongoing capability development activities happening across diverse geographically located contractor facilities.\n Position Overview\nLV8D Solutions is seeking an Outreach Engineer to directly support GPOCs overseeing Outreach Communication providing critical insight into the prime contractor's execution of Strategic Intelligence Community (IC) Communication. The role is also responsible for coordinating other scopes of work such as major program reviews, for example, SV Pre-Ship Review (PSR).\nInterested candidates need to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment; are highly motivated and not afraid to take on uncharted territory; possess strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and organizational skills; and be able to prioritize their time to be effective in a dynamic environment while being strategically proactive.\nRequirements\n Key Responsibilities\nDevelops and maintain relationships with government customers, Mission partners, and intelligence community stakeholders to identify emerging mission needs and capability gaps\nServes as a technical representative during customer engagements, working groups, mission planning activities, and acquisition reviews\nTranslates operational intelligence requirements into system-level technical requirements, architectures, and engineering solutions\nAssesses how intelligence collection, processing, exploitation, analysis, dissemination, and feedback activities influence system requirements and acquisition decision\nSupports requirements development, capability road maps, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and mission engineering activities\nProvides mission-focused insight into acquisition planning, technology maturation, and system development efforts\nCollaborates with systems engineering, software development, and program management teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately represented and prioritized\nSupports proposal development, technical presentations, customer demonstrations, and strategic growth initiatives\nAnalyzes evolving intelligence mission needs and recommend enhancements to current and future capabilities\nFacilitates communication between acquisition organizations, mission users, and engineering teams throughout the program lifecycle.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 9 years of experience; Master’s and 4 years of experience.\n5-7 years of experience in large group education, classroom leadership and Systems Engineering for space programs\nFamiliarity with Department of War (DoW)/Intelligence Community (IC) programs and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance\nStrong organizational and communication skills within high pressure environments\nExperience in reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, discrepancy resolution and on-site support\n Preferred Qualifications\nInternational Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)\nBachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience\nExperience using systems engineering processes, methods, tools and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy solutions for Satellite Systems.\nExperience as an intelligence analyst with demonstrated skills in communicating with analytical communities\nThorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support.\n Security Requirements\nU.S. Citizenship\nActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance\nActive Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph within the last two (2) year \n Work Environment\nOn-site work in a government or contractor facility \nOccasional travel (up to 10%) \n About LV8D Solutions\nLV8D Solutions is an elite Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) company that delivers advanced systems engineering, integration, acquisition, mission operations, network communications, and cybersecurity support to our defense and intelligence customers.
