The role of Space Vehicle Test Engineer is a Satellite Systems Engineer with deep Space Vehicle Assembly Integration and Test (SV Al&T). This role provides technical support, coaching and mentoring Government points of contact (GPOCs) relative to ongoing SVAl&T activities happening across diverse geographically located contractor facilities.\nPosition Overview\nLV8D Solutions is seeking a Space Vehicle Test Engineer to support the GPOC overseeing SV Al&T providing critical insight to the prime contractor's execution of Al&T.\nInterested candidates need to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment; are highly motivated and not afraid to take on uncharted territory; possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; and be able to prioritize their time to be effective in a dynamic environment.\nRequirements\n Key Responsibilities\nDirects Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) operations and activities\nSupports staffing, planning and headcount allocation to ensure adequate in-plant coverage for critical operations\nSupports ATLO schedule assessments and Al& T planning activities\nFacilitates factory inquiries and on-site visits\nTracks special topics impacting Al&T progress and participate in relate forums and working groups to facilitate resolution\nReviews procedures, witness floor operations, and provide independent verification to improve operational safety and efficiency\nConducts requirements and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) reviews; providing feedback as necessary\nProvides Mandatory Inspection Point (MIP) coverage and report when available\nInforms customer of Al&T status via verbal, daily written and ad hoc reports\nLeverages contractor reports, floor walks, and interviews to maintain situational awareness\nServes as primary communication channel for technical and operational updates\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field\n9-14 year experience in ATLO, Al&T or Systems engineering for space programs\nProven leadership in Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) activities, including team management and stakeholder coordination\nFamiliarity with Department of War (DoW)/Intelligence Community (IC) programs and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance\nStrong organizational and communication skills within high pressure environments\nExperience in reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, discrepancy resolution and on-site support\n Preferred Qualifications\nINCOSE ESEP or CSEP\nMaster degree and 8 years of experience\nExperience using systems engineering processes, methods, tools, and program roles to develop, implement, and deploy solutions for Satellite Systems.\nExperience as an intelligence analyst with demonstrated skills in communicating with analytical communities\nThorough understanding of space systems design, integration and test requirements and test execution, including test equipment support.\nExperience in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) construct and Earned Value processes\n Security Requirements\nU.S. Citizenship\nActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance\nActive Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph\nWork Environment\nOn-site work in a government or contractor facility \nTravel up to 25% \n About LV8D Solutions\nLV8D Solutions is an elite Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) company that delivers advanced systems engineering, integration, acquisition, mission operations, network communications, and cybersecurity support to our defense and intelligence customers.
