LV Petroleum is a developer and operator of travel centers, convenience stores, and quick-service restaurants (QSRs). Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, the company manages dozens of commercial retail locations across the United States. Its core business activities encompass wholesale and retail fuel distribution, commercial real estate development, convenience store management, and multi-unit QSR franchise operations - providing automated fueling, food services, and travel amenities to highway travelers and commercial transport fleets.

LV Petroleum is opening a brand-new truck service shop in Eagleville, MO - and we’re looking for an experienced Assistant Truck Shop Manager to help build and support the operation from the ground up!

Our new shop is scheduled to open at the end of October, and we’re hiring now. Selected team members will have the opportunity to train at one of our established locations before opening day, giving you the knowledge and experience needed to hit the ground running.

As Assistant Truck Shop Manager, you’ll work closely with the Truck Shop Manager to lead daily operations, support technicians, deliver exceptional customer service, and help establish a strong culture of safety, accountability, and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Support daily shop operations: Assist the Truck Shop Manager in overseeing heavy-duty truck and trailer repair operations while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Lead and develop the team: Supervise, coach, train, and support technicians and service staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage workflow: Monitor shop workflow and productivity to ensure repairs are prioritized and completed efficiently.
  • Support technical operations: Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical issues involving heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain safety and equipment standards: Ensure equipment, tools, and work areas are properly maintained and all safety procedures are followed.
  • Support inventory management: Assist with inventory levels, parts ordering, receiving, and maintaining the supplies needed to keep the shop operating efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service: Engage with customers, address concerns, and help provide timely solutions that keep drivers moving.
  • Support financial performance: Assist with monitoring expenses, labor, productivity, and revenue opportunities to help achieve shop financial goals.
  • Lead in the Manager’s absence: Step in to oversee the Truck Services operation when the Truck Shop Manager is unavailable.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in truck service, diesel, heavy-duty repair, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck and trailer repair.
  • Ability to lead and motivate technicians and service personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team leader.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in management or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a truck service or automotive environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of financial performance metrics, including P&L management.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems and software applicable to service tracking and inventory management.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Benefits

  • Weekly Pay
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
