This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.\nReporting to the Head of Treasury, you'll support critical functional areas and workstreams including cash management, liquidity optimization, and SOX compliance, while getting exposure to strategic projects that shape how Treasury operates across the company. If you're intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-moving environment, you'll thrive here.\nResponsibilities:\n Treasury OperationsPosition cash daily for Lyft's parent and subsidiary entities across North America, optimizing liquidity at the bank account and legal entity level.\nSupport Lyft's global banking infrastructure: the master account repository, authorized signatory records, registration/regulatory documentation, and banking product subscriptions.\nExecute and monitor electronic payment requests, trade settlements, and other cash movements critical to the business.\nSupport letters of credit - issuance, renewal, and cancellation - and maintain accurate records and track related expenses.\nContribute to the Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation and the subsequent process migration, including process design, parallel testing, and SOP documentation.\nAct as a liaison to internal and external partners, responding to inquiries and resolving ad hoc issues.\n\nAdditional ResponsibilitiesHelp identify and build AI-assisted automation for repetitive Treasury tasks, driving operational efficiency across the team.\nEnsure adherence to Treasury policies, protocols, and internal controls to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.\nSupport internal SOX and external audit requests related to Treasury processes and controls.\nSupport M&A due diligence and post M&A integration workstreams.\nParticipate in other ad hoc projects as Treasury's priorities evolve.\n\nExperience: \nBS/BA in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.\nMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury or a related financial function. \nFamiliarity with online banking platforms, payment methods, and common corporate banking products and services.\nProficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides).\nFluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.\nA strong work ethic, high accountability, and a collaborative mindset.\nComfort operating in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.\nExceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.\n Preferred:Experience working for a multinational, publicly traded company.\nExperience using a Treasury Management System (e.g. Kyriba, FIS, GTreasury).\nExperience designing and building financial models from scratch.\nExperience using AI assistants (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve results and process efficiency.\nFamiliarity with payment service providers, merchant processors, or gateways.\nProject management experience and skills.\nFlexibility to occasionally work early mornings or evenings to support European time zones and critical deadlines.\n\nBenefits:\nExtended health and dental coverage options, along with life insurance and disability benefits\nMental health benefits\nFamily building benefits\nChild care and pet benefits\nAccess to a Lyft funded Health Care Savings Account\nRRSP plan with company match to help save for your future\nIn addition to provincial observed holidays, salaried team members are covered under Lyft's flexible paid time off policy.
