As our Operations Support Specialist, you'll help oversee critical operational processes, support service centers across our network, and partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure freight moves efficiently, accurately, and according to plan. \nPay Range: $28–$34 per hour. \nPosition Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. \nWhat you'll be doing: \nAnalyze complex operational issues, identify practical solutions, and ensure decisions align with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. \nTrack and trace shipments, monitor delivery and PCS entry status, and maintain operational reporting. \nSupport service center leadership and external customers by providing timely communication, operational guidance, shipment updates, and resolution of service-related issues. \nReview incoming shipments and validate receipt status, receiving requirements, and planned handling. \nEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billing. \nMaintain and develop the domestic and international agent network database. \nReview potential claims, resolve pre-claim issues, and escalate matters when appropriate. \nEvaluate process breakdowns, determine service center responsibility, and assign financial responsibility when necessary. \nTroubleshoot scanning platform issues and resolve advanced technical concerns. \nSupport special projects related to freight movement and other corporate initiatives. \nProvide administrative support for TSA air carrier security programs, including Security Threat Assessments, audits, record maintenance, and this role, you'll need these skills: \nStrong transportation and logistics knowledge with the ability to understand, manage, and improve operational processes. \nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including strong proficiency with Excel. \nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with service center leadership, suppliers, customers, and senior-level business contacts. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to make sound business decisions. \nAbility to take initiative, work independently, and follow projects through to completion. \nAbility to calculate freight rates, dimensional weight, percentages, volume, and discounts. \nAnd these qualifications: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent required. \nMinimum of three years of transportation and logistics experience. \nAbility to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) or TSA-recognized equivalent credential. \nExtra credit if you have: \nRetail logistics experience. \nExperience developing materials or presenting information to senior-level clients
