As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced TypeScript Developer to join our growing team.\nResponsibilities\nDuties of the TypeScript Developer will include the following:\nFront-end development: design and build user-facing web applications in TypeScript that highlight, share, and integrate spatial data. \nSpatial data visualization: build interactive maps and views that make complex geospatial data understandable and usable. \nReusable foundations: develop reusable components and patterns that carry across current and future front-end applications. \nIntegration: work with the API and data teams to connect applications to live data and services. \nCollaboration & quality: collaborate across the Science, Engineering, Platform, and Applications teams, writing tested, maintainable, and reproducible code and clear documentation\nQualifications\nThe TypeScript Developer selected should have the following:\nMaster's or Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, GIS, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience in place of a degree. \nStrong front-end development skills in TypeScript and a modern framework such as React. \nExperience building interactive, data-rich web interfaces. \nComfort connecting applications to REST/JSON APIs and working with structured data. \nComfort with Git and modern web build and deployment tooling. \nThe Ideal TypeScript Developer will have the following:\nProject coordination or technical project-management experience (e.g., Agile workflows, roadmap and backlog, cross-team delivery). \nExperience with web mapping libraries (e.g., MapLibre GL, Leaflet, or deck.gl) and tile formats such as PMTiles or vector tiles. \nFamiliarity with spatial data formats and services (e.g., GeoJSON, map services). \nA strong eye for usability and clean, accessible interface design. \nInterest in environmental, water-resources, or scientific data applications. \nColorado Front Range presence for periodic in-person collaboration. \nAbout Lynker\nLynker is a growing, employee owned business, specializing in professional, scientific and technical services.
