To learn more about the security clearance process please access thislink.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nSupport the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network environments.\nWork alongside U.S. Government network engineers, Cyber/IA teams, and technical staff to assist with network setup, implementation, and troubleshooting.\nHelp maintain and support Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).\nTroubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and software issues; assist with identifying root causes and restoring services.\nParticipate in lab/sandbox environments to test, configure, and learn Cisco networking technologies.\nAssist with implementing network solutions and infrastructure upgrades.\nSupport security initiatives by helping deploy and maintain network security and monitoring tools.\nContribute to troubleshooting and supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) network environments.\nDocument network configurations, procedures, and technical changes to support operations and team knowledge sharing.\nCollaborate with engineers, technicians, and IT staff to support project and operational objectives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently holds an active U.S. national security clearance. To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link.\n3+ years of networking, IT infrastructure, or related technical experience.\nWorking knowledge of Cisco networking devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.\nFamiliarity with installing, configuring, and supporting network environments using Cisco technologies.\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts. Exposure to protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, or VPN technologies is a plus.\nExperience using or exposure to network monitoring, testing, or diagnostic tools (e.g., Spirent, T-Berd, SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).\nAbility to troubleshoot network hardware, software, and connectivity issues.\nExperience creating or updating technical documentation, diagrams, or operational procedures.\nStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nIndustry certifications such as CCNA preferred; CCNP or security certifications are a plus.\nExposure to network security concepts, including firewalls, access controls, or intrusion prevention technologies.\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity monitoring tools such as Splunk, Security Onion, or similar platforms.\nBasic understanding of network security technologies including IPSEC and 802.1X.\nExposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or virtual networking concepts.\nInterest in professional growth, cross-functional collaboration, and developing project coordination skills.\nClearance Requirements\nSome positions willrequire access to U.S. National Security information.
