Lyntris moves faster than the traditional defense cycle - with integrated design, build and test capabilities in-house - and delivers systems that sustain and endure long after initial fielding.\nThe Teamcenter Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions within an advanced Software and Enterprise Solutions team supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs.\nThis role focuses on Teamcenter customization, configuration, and system integration, leveraging Siemens development frameworks including BMIDE, ITK, SOA services, and Active Workspace extensions. The developer will support enterprise PLM implementations by translating business and engineering requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions that integrate with other enterprise platforms.\nThe ideal candidate has 2-5 years of hands-on experience developing and customizing Siemens Teamcenter, including data model configuration, workflow automation, and integration with external systems, and has experience working within Agile development environments supporting complex engineering organizations.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Teamcenter technical solutions and configurations. \nEvaluate business/technical requirements for Teamcenter enhancements, extensions and integrations, providing level of effort estimates to support Agile sprint planning and cost estimation. \nDesign, develop, and deploy Teamcenter customization including: \nBMIDE data model extensions \nITK custom handlers and exits \nSOA-based services \nWorkflow templates and process automation \nLifecycle and status management \nCustom actions and business rules \nReporting and data extraction/cleanup utilities \nDevelop and maintain Teamcenter user interfaces, including Active Workspace extensions and Rich Client customizations. \nSupport integration projects between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, or supply chain systems, utilizing Teamcenter SOA services, Dispatcher framework, and middleware integrations. \nPerform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing ensuring Teamcenter configuration and customizations meet functional, performance, and security requirements. \nDebug and resolve complex application/customization defects and issues. \nDevelop and maintain technical documentation for Teamcenter customizations. \nProvide training and support to end-users on custom Teamcenter functionalities. \nStay up-to-date with the latest Siemens Teamcenter product releases, architecture updates, and industry’s best practices. \nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently hold Siemens certifications for Teamcenter. \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines. \nMinimum 2 years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter PLM software, specifically in customization development. \nExperience collaborating with the Siemens Technical Support & Siemens Government Technologies organizations. \nStrong programming skills leveraging Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5. \nExperience developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions. \nExperience supporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems. \nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. \nStrong documentation skills. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in Agile software development environments. \nCurrently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Teamcenter Dispatcher, Batch utilities, and migration tools. \nExperience with Teamcenter installation, patching, and upgrades. \nFamiliarity with database management systems (e.g. Oracle and SQL Server) and SQL scripting. \nExperience with and certifications in Agile software development methodologies. \nExperience with Fortify or other security scanning tools. \nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and code management leveraging GIT (e.g. repo, branches, merging, conflict resolution, build hardening, and ant scripting). \nExperience with AWS cloud services. \nExperience working within Linux-based Teamcenter environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell scripting. \nExperience with Teamcenter licensure, installation, patching, and upgrades. \nExperience investigating and resolving Teamcenter performance related issues. \nIn-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense industry. \nKnowledge of DoD software development policies, cybersecurity requirements, and RMF compliance framework. \nCompTIA Security+ Certification \nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nThis position requires the ability to travel up to 5%\nWork Environment\nEmployees have the flexibility to telework to fulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites as well as other office locations.\nClearance Requirements\nSome positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.
