This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and integration of mission-critical software operating in high-performance, real-time environments where precision, reliability, and deterministic execution are paramount.\nThis position requires a software engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will work independently at times on projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other software engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.\nSelected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Continued eligibility for access to classified information is required throughout employment, as dictated by program needs.\n\nMain Responsibilities:\nImplement internal data architecture and development activities at the holistic vehicle level\nEnsure end-to-end data and interface compatibility throughout the system inclusive of external interfaces\nDefine and maintain internal messages and data flow through the missile\nSupports external message definition with the Ground Weapons System (GWS).\nCollaborate with FSW, FPGA, and HW teams to drive closure of data architecture and HW/SW integration items\nSupport sequence diagram development with architecture team\nCollaborate with FSW, FPGA, and HW teams develop IEIDDs, resolve TBxs, and address system-level gaps\nAssist with any data architecture updates found during hardware testing phases\nDrive closure of HW/SW integration issues from the design perspective through testing and initial flight as they are identified by the team\nSupport relevant interface documentation reviews including internal, SDRL, and CDRL\nSupport HW/SW configuration definition, conops, and parameter management\nBasic Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in STEM discipline or related experience.\n8+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on systems-level development testing and integration.\nSW background with strong systems understanding and knowledge of systems-level hardware\nAbility and desire to work in fluctuating systems engineering environment\nSoftware background to understand software build needs and requirements\nExperience with ICDs and IDDs to define system requirements\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions.\nExperience with I&T integration and test. \nAbility to professionally communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients and peers\nActive Secret Clearance Required\nAbility to work onsite 100%\nAbility to Travel up to 25%\nPreferred / Additional Skills\nProficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)\nExperience leading technical projects or mentoring junior engineers.\nSystems-level experience with hardware and interface implementation (e.g., RS422, SpaceWire, etc.)\nExperience developing and executing system-level and HIL test procedures\nStrong understanding of requirements verification and validation processes\nExperience troubleshooting integrated HW/SW systems in a lab environment\nExperience communicating and documenting complex technical designs\nAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills\nSound Exciting?
