We're addressing the global challenges of ending plastic waste, taking climate action, and supporting a thriving society, while generating value for our customers, investors, and society.\nJOB LOCATION\nDelhi - North Region\nBasic Function\nThis position :\nProvide focused technical support to key and selective accounts as well as new potential customers in customers in India based on account Manager sales region \nSupport market and application development activities in assigned account manager sales region, ensuring that they are aligned with BIT strategy \nGather necessary technical and market trend information and provide inputs for product development opportunities to address market needs and support to develop business cases for new product developments.\nRoles & Responsibilities Technical Services\nEnsures timely and effective technical support to key and selective customers for effective use of Lyondellbasell products with proper value in use positioning\nTroubleshoots and resolves processing problem and application by providing recommendations or on-site technical support for trials\nEnsures that product quality complaints are reported investigated and closed within stipulated period and corrective actions initiated wherever required\nTraining of customers and internal staff for use and benefit of LYB products\nEstablish good network with key internal and external stakeholders including customers, machinery manufacturers, OEMs or end users and industry forums\nMarket / Application development\nEstablish / obtain approval for LYB products at new potential customers for LYB grades\nPromotes and establishes the new development grades actively at existing and new customers fulfilling the development grade sales targets for all customers in India as per account manager region.\nDevelop customer specific value propositions for new business development in line with the objectives of business plan\nEnsure that the samples are delivered in cost efficient manner to the customer\nWork with end users to obtain approvals for LYB products\nGather necessary technical and market trend information, competitor situation and provide feedback regarding any product quality improvements needed and new market requirements\nWork with processors/ end users for inter-material replacement opportunities\nProvide technical support to official distributors for expanding the business Product development / Innovation\nCapture new market needs for product development.\nEnsure the alignment of innovation project with AFMEI business strategy, supply source strategy and LYB innovation platforms\nSupport execution of other innovation programmes in the region with feedback on customer trials and approvals\nProduct Stewardship and Product Risk Management\nAdvise customers on safe use of LYB products for the intended application\nAssess potential risk for use of LYB products in end-use application\nComplete HRAF forms and get required approvals for medical applications\nAddress regulatory requirements of customers in consultation with Product Stewardship.\nEnsure that regulatory information disseminated to the customers is documented\nEnsure that external communication is appropriately approved before publishing\nCORE COMPETENCIES (1.1)\nBusiness Acumen - Knows how businesses work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace. \nDecision Quality - Makes good decisions (without considering how much time it takes) based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment; most of his/her solutions and suggestions turnout to be correct and accurate when judged over time; sought out by others for advice and solutions. \nStrategic Agility - Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans. \nProcess Management- Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; knows how to organize people and activities; understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow; knows what to measure and how to measure it; can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can't; can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resources.\nIntegrity and Trust- Is widely trusted; is seen as a direct, truthful individual; can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner; keeps confidences; admits mistakes; doesn't misrepresent him/herself for personal gain.\nTeam Player - Should be able to perform as a team within the organization with internal stakeholders.
