We're addressing the global challenges of ending plastic waste, taking climate action, and supporting a thriving society, while generating value for our customers, investors, and society.\nCome Join an Inclusive Team\nAs a member of our Analyzer Maintenance Team at the La Porte Complex, you will be expected to provide and apply technical expertise in the installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all process analyzers and their associated systems. Technicians are tasked to perform analyzer maintenance in a manner that insures the safe and reliable operation of site process units and contributes to reduced operating costs. This is accomplished by executing assigned work according to plan and schedule, noting any job plan deviations, and providing input on improvement opportunities.\nA Day in the Life\nAccountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment; responsible for carrying out all work activities in compliance with federal and state environmental regulations.\nPromotes an environment in which everyone is treated with respect.\nSupports the maintenance operations work process in executing tasks.\nProvides technical expertise to assist supervision and operations in the trouble-shooting, configuration and disassembly/rebuilding of process analyzers including gas chromatographs, continuous analyzers, emissions monitoring and regulatory analyzers and keep records of data associated with periodic testing.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on all analyzers.\n\nReviews assigned job scopes for completeness and understanding.\n\nAcquires all necessary parts, tools, and instructions prior to starting the job to maximize work efficiency.\n\nFollows all necessary safety procedures and practices to isolate, clear, and work on plant equipment.\n\nEnsures work is completed per company and industry standards.\n\nUpdates supervisor/manager on job progress and any problems encountered in completing the defined scope of work.\n\nCompletes all documentation using a computerized maintenance management system.\n\nResponds to tasks as directed by maintenance supervision with the appropriate sense of urgency to minimize impact to process units.\n\nIdentifies and implements reliability driven improvements.
