This position will be responsible for the planning of electrical equipment work and requires diverse instrumentation and electrical (I/E) knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for developing planned job packages for I/E repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the PMC (Production Maintenance Coordinator). The ideal candidate will pay strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.\nA Day in the Life\nAccountable for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment.\nResponsible for daily planning of work and the creation of equipment task lists for areas of responsibility.\nEnsures adherence to the Maintenance and Operations Workflow Process (MOWP).\nWorks with the Purchasing Group to procure materials and services utilizing Outline Agreements where applicable.\nActively participates in planning and scheduling meetings.\nCommunicates with FLS (First Line Supervisors), Craft Supervision, Scheduler, Area I/E Specialist and Production Maintenance Coordinator to solicit feedback on job plans.\nAssist in the creation and/or changes of equipment BOM’s.\nProvides support for any site emergency maintenance issues during off-hours.\nReviews backlog and planner priorities list for duplicates.\nGroups notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single order, optimizing utilization of resources.\nEnsures plans are in place that meets the timing requirements of the process units.\nChecks for understanding of scope through notification text and field walks.\nBuilds job plans that clearly show special instructions and required skill crafts and duration, specialty tools, equipment and reserved or crate purchase and requisitioning of third-party services.\nAssembles job packages in preparation for job execution.\nUtilize previous repair history, condition monitoring data and personnel feedback to ensure the appropriate scope of work is developed.\nParticipates in the identification and implementation of reliability driven improvements.\nEnsures critical PM’s are planned and released prior to the scheduling date.\nEnsures PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) findings, action items, and safety work orders are planned and released prior to scheduling date.\nEnsures MOCs (Management of Change) are authorized prior to releasing jobs.\nAssures I&E jobs meet the site standards.\nPerforms monthly reviews on their Planned vs Actual Cost/Hours.\nCreate job plans utilizing Equipment Task Lists.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.\nConducts field job walks to validate scope, identify execution risks, and improve estimate accuracy prior to work package development.\nEnsures material, contractor, rental equipment, and third-party service readiness prior to schedule commitment.\nAccountable for the quality, completeness, and execution readiness of assigned work packages prior to scheduling.\nYou Bring This Value\nQualifications & Skills\nHigh school diploma or GED required\nMinimum 5 years of experience as an instrument/electrical/analyzer maintenance technician in a petrochemical or refining environment\nAttentive listening, good communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), organization skills, and interpersonal skills\nCommitted to quality and safety\nMust be self-motivated and customer oriented\nStrong computer skills in SAP, Windows applications, and E-mail\nDemonstrated proficiency in SAP PM, including work order planning, task list development, BOM maintenance, and labor estimating.\nDemonstrated ability to develop detailed maintenance work packages from field scope through execution.\nWorking knowledge of maintenance planning best practices, backlog management, and work management processes in a petrochemical or refining environment.\nWhat We Offer\nLyondellBasell is proud to provide a competitive total compensation package designed to reward excellence and support the well-being of our employees.
