The position requires effective interpersonal communication, proven leadership, and working knowledge of computer application software, maintenance equipment, repair methods, plant policies, departmental procedures, and pertinent key performance indicators.\nA Day in the Life\nProvides safety leadership in all maintenance activities with a GoalZERO focus\nLeads development of maintenance programs for the site\nLeads or delegates daily Tool-Box Safety Meetings, communicates schedule changes as necessary, and reviews job scope with technicians.\nCoordinates Priority 1 and 2 work orders through assigning appropriate crafts and skills to complete this work during normal business hours.\nInteracts effectively with operations personnel to manage work priorities to meet the business needs.\nCollaborates with other organizations to understand and satisfy plant needs\nEnsures all documentation is complete, tools and materials are returned, and job plan feedback is provided to the appropriate Planner at the completion of each work order.\nParticipates in development of weekly and daily work schedules while providing constructability feedback, as appropriate.\nWorks with Material Coordinator to get tools and materials for scope changes and to return non-stock parts, tools, and equipment at the end of each work order.\nInteracts with work permitting process and ensures all safety procedures are followed.\nEnsures jobs are completed efficiently, time approved in CATS and work order closed.\nEnsures repairable parts process is properly initiated and followed through.\nIdentifies and overcomes barriers to increased maintenance efficiency\nMonitors employee performance, including work quality, time utilization, and behaviors. Holds employees accountable for performance\nDrives technician compliance with training plans and skill gap closure identification\nFacilities contractor time, material and project cost management\nLeads efforts to execute project activities for the site, inclusive of capital upgrade installations\nYou Bring This Value\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nFive year's experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate, build effective teams, empower others, be a champion of change, problem solve, innovate, and enable value\nStrong technical orientation with basic computer skills and functional knowledge of SAP\nPreferred Attributes -\n10 years of combined maintenance experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance role\nAbility to identify and resolve re-occurring maintenance issues\nDemonstrated history of leading complex multi-disciplinary initiatives\nWhat We Offer\nLyondellBasell is proud to provide a competitive total compensation package designed to reward excellence and support the well-being of our employees.
