We're addressing the global challenges of ending plastic waste, taking climate action, and supporting a thriving society, while generating value for our customers, investors, and society.\nBASIC FUNCTION\nColor engineer works on the development of color masterbatch products used in packaging, electronic appliance, consumer, agriculture and industrial applications. The personnel is requested to work under supervisory of color supervisor on product development projects to fulfill customer requirements and generate business profitability.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES\nContributes to a safe work environment aligned with corporate standards and expectations to achieve Goal Zero target.\nSupport the color masterbatch business growth strategies by developing of new or modified differentiated products, applications, or processes to meet market.\nNew products/formula registration and support production scale up.\nProvide guidance to procurement in respect to supplier selection and alternate sources of key raw materials. Actively working on new raw material development and raw material portfolio optimization.\nProvide supporting documents such as a provisional technical data sheet on the approved/new products, composition declaration.\nAssist in development of, and support and adhere to, the quality management system and design and development procedures to meet ISO requirements.\nAwareness of ISO 14001:2015, environmental policy, the significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work. Contribute to the effectiveness of the implementation of the Environmental Management System, including the benefits of enhanced environmental performance.\nEDUCATION\nBachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or degree in polymer and material science will be preferable.\nWORK EXPERIENCE\nAt least 5 years of experience in the color masterbatch or color compounding industry.\nGood color matching skills and Polymer formulation knowledge is mandatory.
