Summary / Basic Function\nThe APS Raw Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials required to support production plans while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing supply risks and excess or obsolete inventory.\nThis position manages material requirements through MRP, coordinates purchase orders and supplier deliveries, monitors inventory and material shortages, and works closely with Procurement, Logistics, Production, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply.\nA Day in the Life\nExecute and monitor MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure raw material availability according to production requirements.\nAnalyze material requirements, inventory levels, open purchase orders, demand changes, and supplier commitments.\nCreate, manage, and follow up on purchase orders and material requirements with suppliers.\nCoordinate supplier deliveries according to production priorities and inventory targets.\nIdentify potential material shortages and supply risks, communicate them proactively, and coordinate mitigation actions.\nMonitor inventory levels to prevent shortages while minimizing excess and obsolete materials.\nManage material planning parameters and maintain accurate planning information in SAP.\nReview demand requirements and planning information to anticipate changes that may impact material availability.\nCoordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Production, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to resolve supply and inventory issues.\nFollow up on supplier performance and escalate delivery issues that could affect production continuity.\nSupport inventory optimization and obsolete-material reduction initiatives.\nSupport physical inventory activities and inventory accuracy.\nParticipate in cross-functional meetings related to material availability, shortages, inventory, logistics, and production requirements.\nPrepare and communicate material status, shortages, risks, and recovery plans to relevant stakeholders.\nPosition Requirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience in material planning, production planning, purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management.\nKnowledge of MRP concepts and inventory management.\nExperience using SAP or a similar ERP system.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and material follow-up.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nEffective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.\nAbility to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience managing suppliers and purchase orders.\nKnowledge of inventory optimization and obsolete-material management.\nExperience working with international suppliers and/or imported materials.\nKnowledge of SAP and IBP.\nIntermediate to advanced English, especially for supplier and cross-functional communication.\nPrivacy
