FUNCTION\nTo ensure that each shift operates in accordance with HSE regulations, permitting systems are managed under team supervision.\nTo maintain efficient line operations, collaborate with Production shift teams, Maintenance, QA, and Logistics through effective problem-solving and clear communication during shifts, while ensuring that each person is assigned to the most suitable job.\nMonitor output against targets, and troubleshoot operational bottlenecks to maintain optimal line flow.\nSupport in New grade development, process optimizations, spares management.\nEnsure the product meets customer requirements for quality, quantity, and delivery by managing and controlling the production department, while maintaining high plant safety standards.\nEnsure all products comply with specifications by monitoring process capability and implementing corrective and preventive actions, with an emphasis on reducing scrap and rework.\nConsistently maintain and aim to exceed both individual and departmental KPIs each month through effective multitasking and team management.\nExecute order processing, manage inventory and conduct cross-checks, and address gaps through continuous improvements.\nConduct training sessions for the team based on the skill matrix and periodically identified gaps.\nDrive operational excellence by applying Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).\nOperate in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS), Environment Management System (EMS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAdhere to HSE regulations during daily shift operations by right use of Personal Protective Equiment (PPE)’s, reporting near miss and Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) to support Goal Zero target.\nShould follow and implement the permit system as per the company Operation Excellence (OE) standard.\nProduction activities should be performed according to Production Planning and Delivery Schedule (PPDS) to achieve ontime delivery of finished goods.\nFollow and maintain line processing condition with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and report any deviations or corrections on time to time.\nEnsure zero customer complaints through producing defect free products, monitor and measure parameters, report any abnormalities with corrective action or root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve with the help of production supervisor and meet the On-Time In-Full (OTIF) target.\nSupporting in reduction of Scrap and Off spec generation by optimizing process and changes required, tracking daily scrap, rework and downtime, reconcialiation of material as per process order (PO) and report to supervisor/manager and seek guidance if required.\nExecute production changeover activties safely with effective plan to reduce process downtime and training to team to imrpove productivity.\nUpkeep and timely maintenance of production main and downstream equipments, support in identifying CAPEX projects / debottlenecking with help of Supervisor/Manager, Initiate and anticipate for Management of Control (MOC) need and complete all actions on time.\nHandling of finished goods with proper packaging and labeling, manage shop floors with right material to deliver, work closely with Logistics and QA to avoid any customer complaint. \nResponsible to update daily, weekly and monthly reports to maintain the documentation and validate data each month for correct reporting on time.\nMaintain housekeeping, dust reduction drive and 5S, operation clean sweep (OCS) drive and support LEAN methodology.\nSupport to cross-fucntional team like maintenance, quality and logistic etc. to achieve common goal of the company.\nMaintain material handling equipment to ensure smooth material transfer.\nAssist Production Supervisor / Production Manager to maintain all Standards like ISO 9001,14001,GMP.\nSupport in value creation (Value Enhancement Program) and Lean initiatives to improve profitability.\nMaintain all data with confidentiality as per LYB Data privacy and retention policy.\nQUALIFICATION\nDiploma / Degree in Plastic Technology or Plastic Processing & Testing from reputed college or university\nWORK EXPERIENCE\nMinimum 5 to 7 years of experience in the plastics industry preferably in masterbatch industry\nFUNCTIONAL CORE COMPETENCIES\nThorough working knowledge of Master batch production and corrections.\nKnowledge of extruder operations, trouble shooting and testing on plastic processing\nBasic Process Automation and understanding .\nSAP common T- codes knowledge must for day to day transactions.\nProficient in operating loss-in -weght feeders (Ktron/Brabender), high-speed mixers, palletization techniques like Under Water / strand cutting, vacuum pumps, conveying systems, uitilities and DCS. \nProven experience in Cost saving / Productivity / Loss reduction improvements
