Responsibilities include developing a well-rounded workforce that has the proper skills and training for the various roles they will be assigned to. The supervisor identifies performance deficiencies/potential improvements and takes appropriate action. Supports capital projects or other departments when needed. Participate in emergency response contingency plans. The incumbent will provide positive leadership by being a role model, setting expectations and maintaining accountability around those expectations, and providing timely performance feedback through the effective use of dialog and coaching.\nA Day in the Life\nSupervises technicians to assure maintenance routine work list is developed, reviewed and executed.\nManage area assigned pipeline and pipeline right-of-way maintenance activities, pipeline repair and improvement projects.\nEnsures Pipeline’s compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements with all State, DOT and PHMSA regulations, in addition to all company policies and procedures.\nSupports internal and external compliance reviews.\nOversees ordering of all general maintenance materials, including reviewing and approving the purchase of expense related materials\nResponsible for implementation of EPO IMP program, including planning, ILI execution, hydrostatic testing, and anomaly investigations.\nProvides support for the initiation, development and implementation of Capital projects.\nCoordinates and schedules activities with operators, maintenance, contractors, and other planners. Communicates and reviews schedules with management, ensures progression of schedule during execution, and reports progress to affected parties.\nPlans and coordinates maintenance activities including the scheduling of manpower, equipment, and materials. Maintains good interdepartmental communication.\nSupervisor should maintain reliability, effective utilization, and cost effectiveness of pipeline maintenance operations.\nProvides input for annual expense and capital budget for pipeline maintenance, operations and manages expenses.\nAnalyzes overall maintenance performance and recommends strategic and tactical changes to achieve business objectives.\nResponsible for Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance for pipeline maintenance operations; maintaining safe operations, work environments and performance of employees and contractors.\nLeads incident and emergency response activities and participate in spill drills and exercises.\nProvides operational reports to management.
