The role will involve national coverage, including some overnight stays, as well as the delivery of additional bulk loads from our Telford operation.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs an HGV Driver, you'll be responsible for:\nSafely operating a company HGV vehicle in line with all relevant legislation and Lyreco procedures.\nMaking deliveries to customers across the UK, with the flexibility to undertake national coverage.\nDelivering additional bulk loads from our Telford site.\nCompleting some overnight deliveries/stays as required by the operation.\nEnsuring all goods are transported, handled and delivered safely and securely.\nCarrying out vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects or issues promptly.\nCompleting all relevant delivery documentation accurately.\nProviding a professional and customer-focused service at every delivery.\nComplying with ADR requirements when transporting applicable goods.\nWorking collaboratively with the wider transport, warehouse and distribution teams.\nRepresenting Lyreco and our values positively while out on the road.\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious and customer-focused professional who has:\nA valid Class 1 (HGV C+E) driving licence.\nA valid ADR Licence appropriate to the role.\nA current Driver CPC qualification.\nA strong commitment to road safety and compliance.\nExperience in HGV driving and a good understanding of UK road networks.\nA professional and positive approach to customer service.\nThe flexibility to undertake national deliveries and overnight stays when required.\nGood communication and organisational skills.\nThe ability to work independently while also being part of a wider team.\nWhat you'll get\nAlongside a salary of £38,495.64 per annum, you'll receive:\n31 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays.\nPension & Life Assurance Scheme.\nOpportunity to participate in the Cycle to Work Scheme, access retail vouchers and eye care vouchers.\n2 fully paid community volunteering days each year.\nGrow Our Own Talent Programme - promoting internal career development.\nReferral Scheme.\nLong Service Awards - to celebrate your career milestones.\nOpportunity for career break - after 3 yrs of service.\nSports & Social Club - access to discounted trips and excursions.\nAll Work to Company Values: Passion, Respect, Agility, Excellence.\nCreate great with us\nAt Lyreco, Empowering people to create great is more than our EVP.
