Privately owned since 1926, Lyreco has continuously adapted to the evolving workplace through operational excellence, strong customer focus, and long-term supplier partnerships.\nWith more than 12,000 employees, Lyreco operates directly in 25 countries across Europe and Asia and covers 17 additional markets through a network of distribution partners.\nTo learn more about Lyreco - see our career website here\nWHAT WE OFFER\nAs a Supply Planner, you will plan and monitor product deliveries to ensure optimum stock availability, control costs and maintain the highest possible level of customer service.\nYou will place and follow up on supplier orders based on sales forecasts and business requirements, with the objective of minimising back orders, optimising inventory levels and ensuring on-time delivery.\nWorking closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will also contribute to defining effective delivery conditions, including order frequency, lead times, delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, service-level expectations and logistics agreements.\nYour responsibilities\nManage product supply\nPlace purchase orders with the suppliers under your responsibility, in line with agreed lead times, budgets and contractual conditions.\n\nMonitor deliveries and proactively negotiate shorter lead times when required.\n\nLiaise with the receiving team to accelerate the processing of urgently needed products.\n\nAnticipate potential supply issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.\n\nMonitor and improve supplier performance\nMonitor and analyse Supplier Service Level performance and identify the root causes of back orders.\n\nReview the monthly and annual performance of Group suppliers to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\n\nDevelop a strong understanding of suppliers’ operations, constraints and capabilities.\n\nCollaborate with Group suppliers, Merchandising teams and subsidiaries to implement corrective action plans and continuously improve logistics performance.\n\nContribute to the negotiation of logistics conditions with Merchandising when onboarding new suppliers.\n\nAnalyse inventory-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.\n\nOptimise inventory management\nRegularly monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.\n\nOptimise inventory levels by maintaining appropriate Material Requirements Planning parameters, considering product categories, demand patterns and product life cycles.\n\nIdentify and report anomalies in sales forecasts to the relevant team so that forecasting models can be adjusted.\n\nProvide Customer Service teams with accurate information regarding delivery times for out-of-stock products and large-volume orders.\n\nEnsure compliance with Lyreco standards\nComply with the company’s purchasing, pricing and operational policies and procedures.\n\nComplete all required training programmes.\n\nContribute to the daily maintenance of Lyreco’s ISO standards.\n\nPromote and support Lyreco’s sustainability commitments and responsible business practices.\n\nDrive continuous improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve Lyreco’s supply and planning processes.\n\nPropose practical solutions and work cross-functionally to support their implementation.\n\nContribute to greater operational efficiency, improved stock availability and a consistently high level of customer service.\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nUniversity degree (min. 2 years) in Supply Chain, Business or related field\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, or sales administration\n\nSolid skills in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or APS systems is a plus\n\nGood understanding of inventory management, supply planning and supply chain processes\n\nEnglish at B2 level or higher\n\nREASONS TO JOIN LYRECO:\nA full- time job in a dynamic, passionate, international team\n\nPossibility to join internal accelerator program\n\nCompetitive salary\n\nHybrid work model\n\nPension plan\n\nPersonal growth budget\n\nIf the above job description interests you and you think you are a good fit, apply now!
