You will shape the developer experience for everyone who builds on Lyte.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and develop the host-platform SDK and APIs (C/C++ and Python) for Lyte’s sensing products\nBuild host drivers, data streaming, and device configuration/control interfaces\nDevelop sample applications, reference integrations, and developer documentation\nEnsure cross-platform support (Linux, Windows) and clean, stable API design\nOptimize host-side data pipelines for throughput and latency\nWork with firmware and perception teams to expose device capabilities\nSupport customer integration and debug SDK issues\nRequired Qualifications\nBS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field\n5+ years developing SDKs, libraries, or systems software in C/C++ (and Python)\nStrong API design and cross-platform development skills\nExperience with device communication (USB, PCIe, Ethernet) and data streaming\nSolid understanding of memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization\nExcellent documentation and developer-experience mindset\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience shipping SDKs used by external developers\nSensor, camera, or LiDAR data-pipeline experience\nPython bindings (pybind11) or packaging experience\nROS / ROS 2 integration\nCUDA expertise\nRobotics or autonomous systems background\nBenefits (subject to location and
