This is a hands-on role for someone who edits for retention, not for effects - who can look at a clip and tell you which three seconds are the only three that matter. You'll work closely with the Marketing team on everything from product demos to brand storytelling.\nWhat You'll Do\nEdit raw footage - including screen-recorded product demos - into polished, watchable videos.\n\nTurn storyboards and narratives into compelling, well-paced final cuts.\n\nUse AI tools for transcript-based cuts, captions, clean-up, upscaling, and generated B-roll, applying judgment on when they help versus hurt the cut.\n\nOwn your assignments end-to-end, from first cut through final delivery.\n\nFlag risks, blockers, or resourcing needs early, and manage upward when you need input or approvals.\n\nMust-Haves\nYou cut for retention, not for effects.\n\nYou can point at a clip and say which three seconds are the only three that matter.\n\nFluent in at least one professional editing tool, and fast in it.\n\nComfortable with screen-recorded product footage, which is harder to make watchable than it looks.\n\nWorking knowledge of the latest AI tools used in editing - for transcript-based cuts, captions, clean-up, upscaling, and generated B-roll - and the judgement to know when they hurt the cut.\n\nHigh agency: you take complete ownership of what's assigned to you and carry it all the way through.\n\nComfortable managing upward, asking for what you need, and flagging problems early.\n\nNice-to-Haves\nBased in Bangalore.\n\nRole Details\nExperience: 0-3 years\n\nLocation / Work Mode: Hybrid\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nOpenings: 1\n\nHiring Process\nRound 1 - Assignment (72 hours): understanding of Lyzr as a brand, building a compelling narrative, converting a storyboard into a polished video.\n\nRound 2 - Assignment walkthrough and profile discussion (60 mins).\n\nRound 3 - Culture fit conversation (30 mins).","description_format":"text","description_chars":2023,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["AI Agents"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-30T10:32:47Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":59,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.588,"p_room":1,"age_days":8,"expected_fill_days":29,"reasons":["conf:2","stale_co","velocity","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-08T05:49:30Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/lyzr-video-editor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/lyzr-video-editor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-09T02:26:49Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":350,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4650,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-10T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":1805441},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=1805441"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Flyzr-video-editor"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Flyzr-video-editor"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Flyzr-video-editor"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/lyzr-video-editor\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Flyzr-video-editor"}]}
