We are kind but direct, and we practice Kizukai-a Japanese word that means “empathy in action.” We are incredibly proud of the team we’ve built, and we’re excited to continue evolving as we grow.\nAbout this role\nThe Sales Associate will work in a supporting role to the Stylists, Supervisors, and Assistant Store Manager in our Washington, D.C. Georgetown store. This role will perform service tasks to support the customer experience, process shipment, prepare product for the sales floor, maintain visual, cleanliness, and safety standards in the stockroom and salesfloor, and execute operational tasks to support an overall excellent customer experience. We are looking for someone passionate about our brand, goal-oriented, and eager to support driving sales while being a strong team member and partner to the team.\nWhat will you do?\nSupport the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.\n\nCollaborate with the team to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals.\n\nStay up to date on our merchandise, events, promotions, policies, and services.\n\nStrategize and take initiative to increase individual and store productivity.\n\nSupport the sales floor by greeting customers, manning checkout, and representing the M.M.Lafleur brand\n\nFollow and maintain all health and safety procedures of the store.\n\nSupport with opening and closing duties when needed.\n\nSupport tasks related to inventory management, merchandising, POS, tailoring, and company procedures.\n\nMaintain an organized and clean stockroom.\n\nProcess stock transfers to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency.\n\nProcess shipment and assist with creating price tags, steaming, replenishment, and stockroom organization.\n\nProcess damages, donations, returns and trade-ins per to support successful product flow.\n\nAssist with global company initiatives ship from store to package and process orders when needed.\n\nMaintain visual standards and store cleanliness to company expectations.\n\nFacilitate a culture of empowerment and respect among your team.\n\nWho are you?\nYou are passionate about organization and creating systems for optimal efficiency.\n\nYou have 1-3 years stock to sales experience.\n\nYou are responsible, reliable, and humble; you show up on time and ask questions when you're unclear.\n\nYou have the ability to connect, feel empathy for, and interact easily with those around you.
