So then, you’re just like every one of us!\n\nWhat is your new role:\n\nOwn, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for our embedded team in line with our business goals, while staying flexible to keep up with them.\n\nTranslate business goals into actionable user stories and technical tasks.\n\nDefine and adjust the product roadmap for firmware features, ensuring alignment with the hardware specifics and the overall IoT ecosystem of our products.\n\nAlign between different teams to ensure cohesion and fluidity.\n\nParticipate in sprint planning, follow-up distributed tasks and define clear acceptance criteria to ensure our definition of “done” is met.\n\nOversee the hardware product lifecycle from initial prototyping and PCB iterations to mass production and over-the-air (OTA) updates.\n\nWhat it takes:\n\nexperience as an Embedded Software / Firmware Engineer with strong skills in C programming, and being ready to take the challenge of bringing impact beyond coding;\n\nwillingness to switch to a product-focused role and elevate your problem-solving objectives from „how“ to “what and why”;\n\nhands-on experience and fair understanding of the embedded world (circuit boards, components, microcontrollers, RTOS, communication protocols) – you wouldn’t need to design the boards or write the code, but you certainly must speak the language of the engineers;\n\nbeing comfortable discussing technical details, but also stepping back to see the bigger picture;\n\nproactivity and ability to take ownership;\n\nexperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (we use Jira);\n\nAI-friendly mindset and readiness to leverage AI tools into daily workflows to drive optimization and efficiency;\n\nflexibility and willingness to switch between priorities, even if that bugs with the ideally planned sprint;\n\nfluent English (written and spoken) with the ability to align between different teams to get things done;\n\na formal education degree, ideally in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant technical field;\n\nbeing committed to working from our office to achieve best results, through efficiency,
