This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the operating facility, acting as the liaison between M2X and external stakeholders. This position will support engineering development, site acceptance testing (SAT), and field commissioning of modular, mobile biofuel plants. The operator will work closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing Teams to ensure accurate data collection, safe operations, and high equipment uptime. A strong candidate will have hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, familiarity with instrumentation and data acquisition, and the ability to work in a fast-moving, field-oriented environment. \nSpecific responsibilities may include: \nMaximize equipment uptime through proactive monitoring and maintenance \nProvide clear daily reports on operating status, findings, and issues to broader team \nOperate industrial systems; handle methanol storage and transfer to offtake partners \nRead and understand operating procedures and provide comment \nCollect and log data and verify equipment performance \nPerform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on systems \nAssist engineers with Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and system commissioning \nMaintain organized records of test results, calibration certs, and maintenance logs \nSupport installation and removal of test equipment at field sites \nEnsure compliance with company safety protocols and regulatory requirements \nCoordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized equipment support \nManage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for operation \nQualifications: \nAssociate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent applied training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology \n2+ years of experience operating or maintaining industrial or laboratory test equipment \nStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools and diagnostic instruments \nBasic electrical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with sensors and control systems \nFamiliarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) system operations \nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams) and basic data analysis \nDemonstrated attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures \nAbility to lift 50 lbs. and work in outdoor or industrial environments as needed \nPreferred Qualifications: \n3-5 years of experience in industrial testing, process operations, or field service \nFamiliarity with PLCs, SCADA, or other industrial control system \nExperience with biofuel, chemical, or renewable energy process equipment \nKnowledge of OSHA safety standards and hazardous-materials handling \nTrack record of effective collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams \nPay Range and Compensation Package: \n$35-$45/hour (based on experience) \nJob Type: Full-time, On-site.
