We manage everything so you can stay focused on running your business, not reconciling it.\nDescription Summary: \nThe Manager - Accounting supervises multiple accountants to ensure accurate & timely financial data for the client’s corporate staff.\nEssential Duties:\nThe duties listed below are the essential functions of this position, and they may change as the needs of the company demand. All associates are expected to do what is necessary to get the work done and to cooperate fully with their supervisor’s requests for additional or altered duties.\nLiaises with client’s corporate staff. \nDirectly manages Staff and Senior Accountants including recruiting, onboarding, development, performance management, corrective action, and employee coaching in consultation with the Director of Professional Accounting Services and HR. \nMonitor compliance with established internal and external procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy. \nMonitor workload and special requests to determine feasibility, deadlines, workload equity and efficiency. \nMaintain professional and responsive communication with clients and internal team members \nLeverage approved AI-enabled tools and automation technologies to improve efficiency, identify anomalies, support reconciliations, draft communications, summarize financial trends, and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of accounting processes while maintaining data security and compliance standards. \nSupervise sales, use, & occupancy tax returns. \nPerform periodic reviews of working papers, income statements, and related accounting schedules to verify accuracy and adherence to established standards. \nCoordinate training for new employees and determine training needs for existing employees. \nHandle special projects and new initiatives as needed. \nExperience in authoring and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).
