You will develop and improve our iOS application, integrate shared application logic, solve complex technical problems, and establish effective workflows for AI-assisted and agentic development.\nExperience with GPS, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Ultra-Wideband (UWB), or related location and proximity technologies would be particularly valuable.\nYou will also share your knowledge with our internal team, including mentoring a junior team member who is learning to build mobile applications through AI-assisted development, often referred to as “vibe coding.”\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and improve our native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.\n\nIntegrate Kotlin Multiplatform modules into the iOS application and collaborate on shared business logic.\n\nImplement platform-specific functionality while maintaining consistent behavior across iOS and Android.\n\nImplement and troubleshoot location and proximity features involving GPS, BLE, UWB, and related device capabilities.\n\nAddress practical iOS challenges such as permissions, application lifecycle, background execution, battery consumption, and device compatibility.\n\nUse AI coding assistants and coding agents extensively to implement features, investigate defects, refactor code, and support testing.\n\nSet up and improve agentic development workflows, including task decomposition, project context, automated checks, and review processes.\n\nReview and validate AI-generated code, taking responsibility for its correctness, maintainability, security, and performance.\n\nTest relevant functionality on real devices and investigate issues that automated tests alone may not reveal.\n\nMentor our junior team member through practical demonstrations, pair programming, and clear explanations.\n\nSupport application signing, release preparation, and distribution through TestFlight and the App Store.\n\nDocument important technical decisions and share reusable knowledge with the internal team.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nDemonstrated senior-level experience delivering and maintaining production iOS applications.\n\nExcellent practical knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and the iOS development ecosystem.\n\nPractical experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and its integration into native iOS applications.\n\nSolid understanding of application architecture, asynchronous programming, lifecycle management, and state management.\n\nStrong debugging skills across application code, shared modules, APIs, and device behavior.\n\nSubstantial hands-on experience using AI coding tools to deliver working software.\n\nA strong interest in agentic coding and the ability to establish effective development workflows around coding agents.\n\nThe ability to assess AI-generated solutions critically and explain technical decisions.\n\nWillingness and ability to teach less experienced team members patiently and clearly.\n\nThe ability to work independently, communicate progress clearly, and take ownership of results in a remote team.\n\nInterest in a long-term, full-time position and availability to start promptly after an agreement is reached.\n\nEspecially Valuable Experience\nGPS positioning, location accuracy, geofencing, and sensor data.\n\nBLE discovery, advertising, connections, and proximity detection.\n\nUWB ranging, distance measurement, direction estimation, and hardware compatibility.\n\nNFC and other device-to-device interactions.\n\nInteroperability between Swift and Kotlin Multiplatform, including asynchronous operations and error handling.\n\nBuilding automated development and testing workflows that combine human oversight with coding agents.\n\nWhat We Offer\nA fully remote, full-time role with a long-term perspective.\n\nCompensation based on your experience, expertise, and responsibilities.\n\nOwnership of meaningful iOS development work.\n\nThe opportunity to shape how our team uses AI and coding agents.\n\nClose collaboration with an internal team that wants to learn from your experience.\n\nRemote Working ArrangementOur remote working setup includes a time-tracking tool that records mouse-click and keyboard-activity metrics and captures screenshots of the screen.
