Our capabilities include IT Talent Solutions, Data Delivery & Analytics, Cyber Security, Cloud Migration, Applications and Infrastructure, Software Development, and Finance & Accounting.\nM9 Solutions is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Scottsdale, AZ.\nResponsibilities\nInstalls, configures, upgrades, and maintains servers and systems.\nDevelops and maintains Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation.\nPerforms weekly system audit reviews, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management.\nRuns monthly scans and works with the team to review and resolve vulnerabilities.\nExecutes security testing and evaluation to confirm security controls are implemented correctly.\nSupports Risk Management Framework activities, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability assessment and mitigation throughout the system life cycle.\nPerforms incident response and cleanup actions when needed.\nEnsures systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in line with security policies and the System Security Plan (SSP).\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years.\nU.S. citizenship is required for this role.\nRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration experience.\nExperience with SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and ACAS/Nessus.\nUnderstanding of STIGs and vulnerability resolution.\nAnsible knowledge, including developing and maintaining playbooks.\nServer installation and configuration.\nThird-party software installation and setup for system functionality and cybersecurity services.\nIdentity Manager and domain administration.\nVMware experience.\nBash and Python scripting.\nDocker administration.\nGeneral network administration, including DHCP and NFS setup.\nTrained and proficient in Assured File Transfer (AFT) procedures.\nSelf-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nOutstanding communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team throughout the system life cycle.\nRelevant certification such as Security+ CE, CAP, or GSLC.\nFull-Time Employee Compensation\nM9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
