An active Top Secret clearance is required.\nResponsibilities\nResearches, architects, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software including DevOps, security, and data analytic solutions.\nDrives, collaborates, and supports the planning of system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards with a particular focus involving integrations and data analytic solutions.\nImplements prototypes using new technologies and innovative techniques.\nPerforms ongoing maintenance and review of application systems and programs, identifies problems, and develops appropriate solutions.\nDesigns and implements cloud service delivery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) that meet business, security, and compliance requirements.\nLeads the design of reusable, scalable, and secure multi-cloud architectures.\nImplements Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.\nEnforces DevSecOps best practices to ensure security and compliance are integrated into the entire cloud development lifecycle.\nAnalyzes existing applications to determine cloud readiness and develops tailored migration strategies.\nLeads cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and maximal performance gain.\nDevelops strategies for cloud failure recovery, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and cost optimization.\nRecommends improvements to application performance, cloud spend, and scalability.\nCollaborates with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure cloud deployments meet internal and regulatory standards.\nImplements cloud-native security services and monitors for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and threats.\nMentors junior and mid-level developers on cloud technologies, best practices, and solution delivery.\nServes as a technical advisor across cross-functional teams and participates in enterprise-level cloud governance.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nTop Secret security clearance.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of software or cloud development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead cloud role.\nDeep hands-on experience with major cloud providers and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.\nAdvanced skills in Python, Java, or similar programming languages for cloud-native development.\nExpert in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).\nStrong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development.\nProven experience building, deploying, and supporting mission-critical cloud applications.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nRelevant certification such as CISM, CCSP, CASP, or CISSP.\nProfessional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).\nExperience with Zero Trust Architecture, serverless technologies, and event-driven design patterns.\nFamiliarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).\nGH 1100\nFull-Time Employee Compensation\nM9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
