An active Top Secret clearance is required.\nResponsibilities\nSupports the network infrastructure, performs all routine maintenance activities, provides guidance on upgrades and system recapitalization, and performs availability/capacity management.\nOversees High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution that supports the transfer of data between multiple classification domains.\nSupports all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline.\nDesigns and supports system recapitalization plans to account for capacity growth and changes as directed by the customer.\nServes as the subject matter expert on all network infrastructure.\nInstalls, configures, and maintains equipment including Cisco network and firewall gear (Cisco 2900, 4500, 9300, 9400, 6800, Nexus 9000, Cisco Firepower, and ASA).\nBuilds firewall policy and optimized rule sets for improved efficiency and threat prevention.\nDeploys new network configuration to meet NIST/FISMA/STIG compliance requirements.\nSupports ATO reviews and audits.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nTop Secret security clearance.\nBachelor's degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience. Additional education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.\nExperience with engineering, deployment, and operations of LAN and WAN switches and firewalls, ensuring seamless integration into existing network infrastructure.\nWorking knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network/HW/SW security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements.\nExperience with and proven methods for managing the information security incident lifecycle, including incident response, mitigation, post-action reporting, and mapping a path forward.\nNetwork management experience with SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, NetQoS, or NetBrain.\nCross-platform familiarity and experience with VMware, Linux, Microsoft Server, and AD.\nTop Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a government Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability determination.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.\nProven experience (10+ years) in IT service delivery management.\nExperience with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms.\nExperience with Everfox High Speed Guard Platform.\nExperience with Cisco, Juniper LAN/WAN network infrastructure.\nExperience with Palo Alto Firewalls.\nCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Security.\nPalo Alto Networks Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) - PAN-OS 7.0 Version.\nFull-Time Employee Compensation\nM9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
