An active Top Secret clearance is required.\nResponsibilities\nTechnical Solution Design & Advanced DevelopmentDesign, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM) using advanced scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideSystem, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes).\nDevelop and enhance Service Portals using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.\nTranslate business concepts and functional requirements into robust, scalable technical designs and implementation plans.\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective performance optimizations.\n\nSystem Integration & ArchitectureArchitect and implement secure integrations between ServiceNow and external third-party systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and Integration Hub.\nMaintain data integrity and mapping during integrations, ensuring optimal system performance and minimizing technical debt.\nAssist in defining and maintaining the platform's long-term architectural roadmap.\n\nCode Quality & MentorshipConduct rigorous code reviews for peer and junior developers to ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and internal guidelines.\nMentor and guide junior developers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous technical learning and high-quality delivery.\nAct as a technical escalation point for complex development challenges.\n\nChange Governance & DeploymentParticipate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to evaluate the technical feasibility and impact of proposed changes.\nManage complex deployments using Update Sets, CI/CD pipelines, and ServiceNow Application Repository, ensuring smooth transitions from lower environments to Production.\nEnsure all development work follows defined change governance, compliance, security, and architectural standards.\n\nTechnical Documentation & EnablementDevelop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical design documents (TDD), and system configurations.\nCreate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deployment, coding standards, and platform maintenance.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nActive Top Secret security clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n5-7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.\nAdvanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow scripting APIs.\nStrong experience building and managing complex REST/SOAP API integrations.\nSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in sprint-based delivery cycles.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nCore CompetenciesAdvanced ServiceNow platform and scripting expertise.\nComplex systems integration and API management.\nTechnical architectural design.\nMentorship and peer development.\nAgile development execution.\nRoot-cause analysis and performance tuning.\nClear technical communication.\n\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) strongly preferred.\nServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more relevant modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.).\nExperience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) and setting up automated testing pipelines.\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and strong foundational knowledge of ITSM principles (ITIL v4 certification is a plus).\nGH 1025\nFull-Time Employee Compensation\nM9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
